you need to find your purpose in life. your reason for waking, for struggling, for trying. it's what makes the way straight instead of crooked...it may not make the way smooth or easy, but it removes certain confusions. everything else falls into place around it.
re-reading this, I realize how vague it sounds...but what I meant was that finding a spiritual purpose would anchor you. secular purposes come and go depending on circumstances and personal evolutions, but spiritual purpose lasts forever.
