... that I am not all that excited about this election. It's not like I've ever been super-excited about elections, though it is usually imperative that I vote and read up and do this, that and the other thing to make wise decisions. I just... don't know. So late this morning I got a call from J. Apparently he didn't go into work because he's so sick. I go to call him back (since it's a buck a minute for him to call), but on the transfer to his room, I got cut off. Called again... ring ring... then nothing. Called again. Not even a ring. I was hoping that somehow I'd be more energized, or something. I'm actually getting a lot done, but it just feels like time is at a standstill and I'm just 'doing stuff.' I'm exhausted and awake. Slow-Motion
Today, I saw an accident in slow-motion. Sure, we've all seen accidents before, and I've seen many I'd consider gruesome, but none were in slow-motion, save for the accidents I was in. Yesterday was actually a good day. It didn't seem like it would be, but it was. After looking at our movie choices at the local megaplex, we decided on Meet the Spartans. Painfully aware
Landed in Utah on January 3rd. It's been so-so weather-wise. Cold enough to give this Californian the chills, but warm enough for everything to be turning into slush, water and ice. Not-so-much in the fun department ( Read more... )
