Once On This Island - What's it All Mean?

Some of you may know that I've been working on a production of Once On This Island at Mount Mansfield HS this spring. I think it's a wonderful show and we've got a pretty darned good production. I've been thinking a LOT lately about the meaning of this show, and I love your thoughts on it. :)
It's exactly why we tell the story.
