High school exit exams

For a change of pace I am going to talk about something that is bothering me of a more political nature. Why on earth can anyone in their right mind think that making a high school exit exam unconstitutional is a good idea. The Ca school system graduates way too may undeserving students as it is and I dont think that it is really too much to ask

Awww...but if we hold them back or don't let them graduate they might feel bad about themselves, and we don't want to ruin their precious self-esteem. Poor babies.

But I am evil and thats what I want. For some reason I belive educating those children is more important then forcing a lot of dumb happy children on the world.

I'm well educated and I have lousy self-esteem. Although I am a high school drop out. And honestly? Sometimes dumb and happy doesn't sound that bad. Of course, I only contemplate that because I'm way over educated...
