I haven't gone in for the pre-sale just yet...and I don't think I've heard anything off the album yet either, unless what UWM was playing before I film they showed was the new Radiohead (it was definitely Thom Yorke's voice, and beyond that the music didn't sound familiar to me)...
I ordered the full box set (which was a bit costly, but part of me still feels the need to have a physical album), which included the download. So, although I do not have the pictured materials in hand yet, I've been listening to the album almost non-stop on my MP3 player lately. I love it, and I'm looking forward to the additional songs that come with the box set.
do they charge you for the boxed set when you make your order or when it ships?...I, too, want the physical album but would like to not wait until December to listen to any of it, except I can't afford the cost of it right this second...and I'd rather just get the download from ordering the whole shebang than to do a separate transaction to get it for however low I want to go...
Unfortunately, they charged my card the moment I placed the order. I guess one solution would be to pay nothing for the download right now but still order the boxed set when you have the money. That way you get the instant gratification and the long term plan of paying for and receiving the physical album.
