Woody Allen's not always consistent, but some of his movies are certainly darn great...

I am thinking of seeing that Vicky Christina Barcelona movie in the near future...maybe even this weekend...

Any recommendations of where to start?

there's a lot I haven't seen either...if you haven't seen Annie Hall, I'd start there...or Hannah and Her Sisters if you haven't seen that one...I guess most of what I've seen tends to have been films he's made within the past fifteen years, but I probably wouldn't start there...one suggestion would be to look him up on All Movie Guide and pick ones that have been rated with the highest number of stars...

I saw Vicky Cristina Barcelona last night and found it quite funny and delightful...I find Javier Bardem in particular to be delicious, but everyone is good, really...that film would be as good a start as any...
