贪婪的狗

小时候，听过一个关于一条贪得无厌的狗的故事。
话说，有一条狗坐在屋前啃着一个美味可口的骨头。
啃着、啃着、这条狗觉得口渴，便走到河边喝水。
当狗低头想喝水，它看见河里有一条狗和自己长得一模一样，口里同样含着一个骨头。
心想：怎么它的骨头看上去比我的大、比我的甜美。
就在这时，它贪心四起，便张嘴对着河里的狗狂吠，企图把对方吓跑，霸占它的骨头。
说时迟，那时快，在狗崽子张开口的瞬间，骨头从它口里扑通地掉进河里。
那条狗急忙跳进河里尝试把骨头捡回来，可惜骨头早已经被湍急的河水给冲走了。

这则小故事警戒全天下的狗千万不要贪图别人家的骨头，
搞不成两头不着岸，最后还可能面临遭受世人唾弃的命运！

did you read aesop's fables when you were young? this is the famous fable about the greedy dog.

a dog with a piece of bone in his mouth stopped at a river to drink water. looking down, the dog saw his own reflection in the water. he thought the reflection was a dog with a bigger and juicer bone. the greedy dog wanted that, too. he opened his mouth to bark at the dog in the water. at that moment, his own bone fell into the river and floated away.
