Ridiculously large amount of photos of flappers, jazz babies and silent era film stars (May also be of help to some people looking for ideas as to what to wear for 20's night)
Clara Bow
Marion Davies
Louise Brooks (and her fabulous shingle bob)
Mary Pickford (my favourite- she's just beautiful)
And after the pressure of flapper culture forced her to bob her gorgeous hair to save her career...
And Mary Pickford in a costume that I would do almost anything for.
And here's some miscellaneous flapper pictures
(The cheater's bob - women who were afraid to flaunt convention by bobbing their hair faked it with a low chignon)
So basically, shapeless shift dresses and boyish cuts, but everything else as feminine as it comes- red lipstick, kohled eyes, soft curls, flowers, fur (fake, of course), pearls and lace. And rolled down stockings with rouged knees.
