I kinda made this meme up, but how about posting something nice about a person we've met on that day, everyday? I just want to appreciate the people around me/strangers on the street I admire more often. What do you think?

It's just something I was thinking about a lot in Italy, being around beautiful girls and good-looking guys all the time. I felt so insecure and homely and Chinese until I saw another girl looking at me with such longing in her face and I wanted to shout, "DON'T LOOK AT ME LIKE THAT! Why would you want to look like me?! You are so beautiful!" ...And then I wondered, how many people around me actually feel self-conscious and ugly when... they're so perfect in their own way? It made me catch the eye of every girl I met after that and send "I-think-you-are-beautiful" messages their way. So yeah. /awkward laugh

I LOVE IT. It'll be especially nice for me because I talk to so many customers at work - and while some can be quite rude, so many others are lovely! :)

But a lot of Asian girls, like yourself, are gorgeous! There's this one girl at work named Katie, and she has the most amazing hair (she does different things with it everyday - she straightens it, curls it, dyes it, cuts it, etc. etc. all the time). And her skin is perfect, and her eyes are like chocolate. PRETTY. Anyways

Oh, there are LOADS of beautiful Asian girls. Filipinos, Malays, Indonesians, Indians... but Chinese girls? Tough call. We're more "exotic" or something. We're an acquired taste [; But thank you! ♥ And Katie sounds so creative with her hair... /sigh. I hate having to do anything with mine! A confession: sometimes I feel like shaving it all off.

I guess, but I really think it's beautiful when Chinese girls have fringe bangs - it sort of ties the whole look together? But yeah. That's why I love your hair ♥ The bangs make your cheekbones pop!

Haha, Katie shaved part of her hair recently (or at least buzz cut it), and then kind of did a really deep side part going the opposite way. /IRONY

She sort of does! She has a Taylor Swift streak anyway, but she loves all your Percy Jackson drawings. She's always looking over my shoulder and saying, "WHOA, that's ANNABETH? How did your friend DRAW that??" And so on. :)
