The amount of stupidity in this world sometimes astounds me. Yesterday, I was in line at the Thai place in Reading Terminal and the woman in front of me ordered their yummy salmon dish. She then asked for "mashed potatos instead of rice." Lady, it's a THAI restaurant. She was so mad that they didn't have mashed potatos...she even told the lady behind the counter that she should consider serving mashed potatos because "who the heck serves fish and no mashed potatos???" Then she complained about having to pay for extra broccoli...and when the server started to pour on the red curry coconut sauce that the MENU says is on the salmon, she started freaking out. "Why you putting that stuff on my fish??" Ridiculous.
Oh my. That is hilarious. I wish I had the balls to tap a person like that on the shoulder and say, "May be you should go somewhere else." She'd probably freak out on me next!
I thought about not faxing the paperwork from the counselor, and making the corrections myself (she emails them to me first) but then thought that it was too humorous to keep to myself. I'm sure the people at the insurance place looked at it and went, "Huh?" and had their own little laughs about it.
