New Job
I started my new job today and the only thing I know, aside from knowing where I work ... and since I certainly didn't absorb all the information that was presented to me today ... is that I'm in the right place.

Reiki
Dan & I went for Reiki tonight at The Reiki School. I was really curious if this session would be the same as the last one. Not that making the last student cry was a bad thing, nor did I feel bad about doing it, but I guess it's just a reminder to me that my body is still working through trauma. Assholes
It was bad enough that I was laid-off Wednesday and then less than 24 hours later it was recinded in place of a really crappy offer (more responsibilities and the same pay). It was an offer that only a crazy person would accept. I didn't really have any other choice than to quit and find another job ASAP (thank you Cait) ... but now they just ( Read more... ) -
These times they are a-changin'
So I have to hand in my resignation letter tomorrow. I'm a little worried but feeling great anticipation at the same time. I'll be starting my day off showing a really annoying woman tasks that she'll be doing in my absence. I don't like rollercoasters
And normally my head would be spinning right now, but I feel a sense of relief and control. About 4 hours after being laid-off, I received a phone call from a friend offering me a job. Talk about karma. The job would still be in social services. It would be an opportunity to work with the same population under different circumstances, same pay ( Read more... )
