Entry #6- "Ode on a Grecian Urn" Themes

After reading “Ode on a Grecian Urn” by John Keats, it really made me think about all of the things that the urn represents in this poem.  In this entry, I will examine several different themes of this piece.  First, the urn represents a world of innocence that is never affected by the distress and difficulties that come with a changing world.  ( Read more... )

This is perfectly written and you nailed it right on the head. The people on the urn never will change while the world does which is pretty awesome!

The urn does represent a world of innocence, mankind does not understand the difference between good and bad unless they are place in a good or bad situation that can be learned from.

The poem is deeply based on humanity and also I believe that the Grecian society represents how life can be for any human being.
