Not too long after writing my smug blog about how much fun Jason and I were going to have yesterday, I found out that he got called into work. That's right, Jason had to work on Valentine's Day night even though we had plans. I am just glad it all worked itself out. You two are going to have a fabulous time. I can't wait to see the DVD pics of you! Really excited about it.

I can't wait to show them to you! I just hope that my skin stops breaking out so I actually look halfway good. Maybe we should plan to meet up sometime next week...

I'm really glad that you and Jason have time together this weekend. Are you driving to Phoenix? BTW, I was so sad to book my flight to Chicago without you, yesterday...

We are flying; I kinda wish we were driving. We like the time together in the car. Chicago without me. Sigh. It's ok. You guys will have fun anyway. Think of me...

Of course we will think of you! I'm going to miss having you there so much. Who else will graciously ride with me down the escalator (in 3in heels) in the Palmer House, from the Mezzanine to the Lobby, while 200 political scientists stare - to see if we will fall? That's definately a run-on sentence...

*laughing and shaking head* Ah...the good ole' days. Too true that they stare. Its like they have never seen women before. Wait, scratch that...its like they have never seen attractive, well-dressed, cute-haired, makeup-wearing women before. We will take over the world of political science! We will!
