I saw Fahrenheit 9/11 today. Michael Moore is, and has always been, a bit over the top. That's part of his charm, so to speak. In all of his work, though, he has sought, with varying degrees of success, to stimulate thought about whatever subject he was covering. I agree, Moore is over the top. Many of his points use gross exaggeration if not outright lies as supporting "evidence." As a patriot, I believe in truth, justice and the American way. I think that Moore's film is good in the sense that it has provoked a large amount of political discussion, which is necessary in an election year. However, I believe that his biases have corrupted his objectivity as a journalist, and this film is opinion journaling presented as documentation of truth ( ... )
