Things are not getting better.

This stomach upset, err, umm, let's call a spade a spade, diarrhea is not improving. My stomach was in so much pain that I got about 3 hours of sleep last night. I had to keep getting up to go to the bathroom. Things are not any better through the morning and so far this afternoon, despite various and sundry medicines ( Read more... )

Yuck! I'm sorry you're not feeling any better. I'm assuming Pepto Bismol has tried and failed? I know very little about what to do for peeing out your ass.
Though water sounds like a good idea. Aloe juice, too, if'n you have it. Helps with dehydration.
Has the Biohazard Child at least ceased her Biohazardly ways? At least you make it to the toilet....

Pepto (actually faux Pepto, but who's counting) provides minimal, if any relief. I have reinforcements out to get Kaopectate, which as my dad puts it, "Turns water to stone."

Hey, what does M care if she soils her diaper? She and Eccentrica Gallumbits really didn't take too much of a hit on this. EG was slightly incapacitated for 12 hours, more than half of which were mostly spent sleeping. Mads had a few nasty diapers but otherwise no other apparent ill effects. Me? I feel like the scene from Alien. (Or, if you prefer, Spaceballs.)

Well, for the time being, how about ketchup? I just had some hot chocolate. I have been very chilly, probably low grade fever. Waah. Waah. I also had some yogurt (good bacteria) and some of my patented ketchup sandwiches. Ketchup has some electrolytes. You make a good point, though.

Ketchup sandwiches, one of the few favorite foods of my brother's that he didn't have to give up when he went veggie.
*shudder*
Sorry to hear you're under the weather, Bri. Feeling a bit off, myself. And your entirely too accurate quoting of our father made me feel... a bit worse, actually. Kidding, kidding.... ;-)
It is my hope that contrary to Dad's oft-repeated adage, things cease to pass in the near future.

I'm feeling a bit better. I slept some after I picked Mads up at daycare. I don't know if I'll be in good enough shape to work tomorrow given the amount of sleep and food that I've missed, but I am not in as much pain as I had been.

Interestingly enough, after an intense hour and a half after eating what little I did today, is when I began to feel better. Ketchup sandwiches, baby, the cure for what ails you!
