The Up: Third interview with the company I like went really well. Before I even landed in the driveway coming home from it, they called to let me know they were sending me a release to do my background/reference check ( Read more... )

I hear you. I often feel like I have nothing of value to say here. But I can tell you that I still thoroughly enjoy listening to your life stories as much as I did when you were planning your wedding.

I want to dance with you! :) And I'm a non mom too. Don't tell anybody but... we're the lucky one! ;) Shh! :)

What about having someone call your old job for you pretending to be from the potential job? I've heard of friends doing that before, and when they say something bad they sue their pants off! :) Also, aren't you getting unemployment at least?

J-O-B... thanks, now I have "Friday" stuck in my head! ;)

I really hope your old company does the right thing. And I'm super happy that the third interview went well. I'm keeping my fingers crossed that this job comes through. That will solve a lot of the downs in your post.

We're actually trying to pick out colors to paint our bedroom, so I feel you on the trials and tribulations of colors and their differences in natural and unnatural light. But it is fun to get stuff done that you've really been wanting to get done.

I hope you don't go anywhere. I know my journal has gotten very baby-focused. However, there are occasional non-baby things, and I have a feeling that will only increase as some of the newness of mommy-dom wears off. I always appreciate your input and totally understand when you have nothing to add to the sleep, eating, etc. issues. And I always want to keep up with you. So that's my $.02.

Oh, and I'm hoping for a fat refund too, even though, as an accountant, I know that is the wrong thing to hope for. ;-)

Blues are especially hard. That's what my mother (an artist) told me after I unsuccessfully picked blues in both of our houses. I was like, "Uh, NOW you tell me!"

I really hope it works for you with this job. I have a feeling it will. I also feel like Mars will do the right thing. It really doesn't benefit them to screw you (or not) so I don't know why they'd go out of their way to nmake things hard on you. I'll keep my fingers crossed for you!

I enjoy keeping up with you when you post in here. I try to remember to follow you with your other journal/blog, but honestly I feel out of my league over there (much like you do with the baby talk over here). But I hope you won't go away. I try not to talk baby all the time, but it's hard when that's all your life is! :)
