no worldcon for me

Our Living History Week, which used to happen over the Canada Day weekend, needed to be shifted. So it's moved to later August, and because some other group will also be at Fort Rodd Hill in later August, our week will this year exactly coincide with WorldCon.

Maybe 2015, then.

heavy sighs, well bugger, loved i not duty more

Oh, CRUMBS. I was so hoping you'd be there.

I was so much looking forward to seeing you (and, um, y'know, WorldCon generally). Am quite bummed about this. But hoping you and any other VPers attending have the best time ever (she said bravely).

WFC has a waitlist thingy for artists - do you have some eerie / otherworldly photographs you could submit for the artshow?

I don't, I haven't taken many...photos...hang on. I have been taking photos in Sweden. MAYBE. I shall ask Mark Deniz to take me someplace otherworldly and eerie in Norrköping on Saturday. After all, he does publish horror stories.

That is so disappointing, Barbara. I was hoping to meet you in Reno! I owe you chocolate (or another treat more to your liking). Well, my gratitude won't get stale, so the treat will be fresh when I finally get to say my big thank you. Have fun at Fort Rodd Hill. We'll be missing you!
