Today the card came from Operation Eyesight. I'm a bit disappointed that they didn't provide the name & info for a specific person, but still, here you are, same as last year, because I am just that predictable:

Check out their website - those who like the big-ticket gifts can give an outhouse for Christmas, which amuses me greatly. The eyes are more in my budget range, fortunately.

I was disappointed with that too! I liked knowing the name of the person who benefited from my donation. Ah, well--someone did! That's what matters.

I wonder if they'll bring it back next year? Because that's always been exciting to read, even though I know it wasn't as if they rushed up to that doctor and gave him my check and said yes, this patient here. I know it's all done in lots and spread out - but still!
I'm going to see if I can get the card picture scanned and maybe, maybe, LJ will let me post it. It's the hands holding the snowflake-ball candle.
