i love people watching! sometimes i even make up stories about them!
many books about writing tell you that you should basically people watch, give them a voice and a life in your head then write it down in a book you always carry with you. and they then become the basis of characters in your future stories
when watching sport my family and i give the players names. pretty boy, buttter fingers and the like. but it sticks with us til the next game and the next
