Colleges I have considered at any point in my life:
1. Point Park
2. Duquesne
3. Edinboro
4. Grove City
5. Penn State
6. Robert Morris
7. Cal-U
8. Clarion
9. La Roche
10. Gannon
11. Waynesburg
12. W & J
13. UPJ
14. Geneva
15. Seton Hill
16. UPG
17. Lock Haven
18. Slippery Rock
19. Pitt Main Campus
20. St. Vincent

Reasons Why The Ones That Are Crossed Off Are Crossed Off:
1. Point Park University- Because it's directly in the city. Its campus is scatttered. After first year, very few people live on campus. The campus housing doesn't feel like college like living conditions (to me).
2. Duquesne University- Strongly dislike the campus. Does not feel homey to me. Also, decently expensive for a college that does not feel "homey".
3. Edinboro University of PA- So many people gave me that as the only option that I really dont want to go there just out of pretense. Also, it's up north near Erie.
4. Grove City College- WAY too conservative, even for me. Did not feel like a comfortable college campus. Too structured and too cult-like.
7. California University of PA- Crime rate= pretty bad right outside that area. Low standards to get in.
9. La Roche College- Barely 15 minutes away from my house. Out in the open. Way too small of a campus. And did I mention only 15 minutes away from home?
10. Gannon University- Once again, up north near Erie. I don't want snow that badly. Also, a catholic school. Now that's not always bad, but I hardly can tolerate going to church on sundays at a catholic church let alone college. And pretty expensive.
12. Washington & Jefferson College- Not only is it UBER expensive (i mean even if they did pay for over half of it, I still wouldnt be able to afford it), but everyone who goes there is stuck up (from what I have heard).
14. Geneva College- It's up north. Never really was a first pic for me. Grew away from me.
15. Seton Hill University- Does not have one of the majors I want. Also, it barely advertises the other I want.
16. University of Pittsburgh at Greensburg- Just visited the campus. Very disappointed. Barely one step above community college.
17. Lock Haven University of PA- Too far away and I don't know practically anything about it which means just by looking on the internet it already didn't impress me.
18. Slippery Rock University- Party- hardy school. Not into that. Also, very low standards to get into.
19. University of Pittsburgh: Main Campus- Couldn't go there even if I wanted to due to bad area and no support from parents. 5 year baccalaurette degree instead of 4. campus is too spread out and too in the city. Once again, bad crime rate.

Reasons Why The Colleges That Are Still On My List Are Still There:
5. Pennsylvania State University- Basically, because I haven't found something to take it off the list yet. I mean yeah, there's some things I don't like about it, but nothing that would not make me continue looking at it. Kinda big though.
6. Robert Morris University- It's close in distance. Private school. I know people who go there. Their Communications program is supposed to be pretty good. English program is decent too. Unfortunately, they don't have a good sec. ed program. Because my "safety major" is to do sec. ed. english, that could be a problem.
8. Clarion University- Basically, this college is everything I think about when I think of college. It just feels like a college to me. And it's a great school for Education degree. And they have a very good Communications program. VERY Cheap too. Drawbacks? Low standards to get in & kinda known for the parties. Best one I've seen so far though.
11. Waynesburg College- It's a private school and I want to keep a couple private schools on there. Cheap tuition + a lot of financial aid help. Small. More of a Good Match school for me. Christian college. Not too far. Great Communications program. Good Teaching & English Programs. Haven't seen it yet & am not sure how it "feels" to be there.
13. University of Pittsburgh at Johnstown- I heard it's very nice from SEVERAL teachers at my school. Small. Very scenic. Lots of food varieties and awesome dorms. Has all my majors. 3:2 guy-girl ratio. Academically focused. Drawbacks= Kinda expensive for a state school that doesnt offer much financial aid. Farther away from home than most colleges. Was not impressed with one of the branch campuses so I'm not sure how I'm going to feel about this one.
20. Saint Vincent College- Basically, I never considered it because it had "Saint" in the title. But I got something in the mail for it and this summer I keep seeing it around. So I look at it on the internet. And it's REALLY nice. And has all the majors I want. It's very "college-y" too. I know sounds stupid, but after I went to UPG, there are some colleges that just don't feel "college-y".

I might edit this later. PLEASE COMMENT on my little list here. I like to know what others think.
