Another week, another cry...

I can't get away from my past. Recently, I helped Ms. Hatch host the Region 3 Academic Decathlon Meet at the high school. I was in the back helping Rick Hopkins score all the tests, posting the scores, assembling the packets for the teams, and making sure there were no errors in the grading. I thought I was doing it because I was helping out Ms ( Read more... )

I'm not going to be all 'I get it'...cause I don't. I definetly never had the devotion you or Sarah had and I never put in the effort. I went there cause I liked my teammates a lot and I do miss Nicky-cole, and Sarai, and you, and Theronie and my liddle Eric-chan and yes, God, even Josh, but...I'm not going to cry about or nothing. I have friends here at college who are awesome, a kickass roommate and all that jazz.

But I love you and worry about you and I think you're cool even if you are crazy. Actually, schizophrenia is what everyone is going to be wearing this year.

Oh, and, vote for Anniocracy!

Hey,this is Heather. When I first graduated, i felt rather lonely on campus, too. It wasnt until I started connecting with people i had in classes that i began to feel i belonged at A&M. I've been very blessed to meet some awesome people this past year ( ... )

I miss AD too, Brent. Although I miss it when the coaches weren't trying to be the Alice coaches haha....like our sophomore and junior years!!! When we had too many inside jokes to keep up with and PJ was dressed as Tigger 50% of the time haha! Well things can't go back to the way they were, I mean we can visit...and who knows maybe one day you will be the AD coach...but really things can't go backwards. Just focus on what's to come, you have such an amazing future ahead of you...you shouldn't be so focused on the past! You are the smartest person I know, you have soooo much road left to travel on and I'm SURE that you are going to find friendships like AD in college. But your AD friends are still here too! You get the best of both ( ... )

brent. your not alone. i played a sport in hs and when practice rolled around this year, it killed me to know i wasnt there practicing with them, preparing for the games. the anticipation of it all was experience of it own. i miss the jokes, the fun, the arguments, the memories in general. i recently went to a game and watched, it was hard for me sitting in the stands because i realized how much it had become apart of me and it is like a part of me is missing now but change is inevietable. be thankful for what you had, be thankful you were able to be apart of something that meant so much to you. how lucky you are to have had something that was so hard for you to say good bye to. its tough letting go, its tough moving on. it really is but your going to be allright, and you will always be able to keep in touch with the friends you made in AD, you will always have the memories. i think its great you are becoming a teacher, you can have the same effect on students that your teachers and peers had on you.
