Hey all

I think I leave such large gaps between posts because there really isn't that much going on over here.  I'll try to think of a few things that I hope are able to hold your attention.  This should be difficult...

Even though my dad is on vacation, he had to go to a meeting on Monday.  Something about the budget for 2010.  0_o  He was there ( Read more... )

OOOoooo... I'll hope for the best and assume your dad was out picking a new comp for you. *grins* I don't know if I'll be able to get a hold of you, so HAPPY BIRTHDAY in advance! *snogs*

*laughs* I actually got a french manicure and pedicure for the first time while I was vacationing in Flagstaff last weekend... It was definately a new experience, but I don't understand the point of paying $40 USD just for some special nail painting and primping. O_o;; It was still nice though, and my toe-nails have never looked better. *grins*

This summer seems to be going by much quicker than last. Perhaps that's because I actually have a job this summer.

When you come back up here, you'll have to come see my apartment. My mom says its really nice and a lot better than her first place (though she would never want to live here herself). Speaking of my mom, my family is moving to the Show Low area. They came up to Flagstaff this weekend to look at mobile homes. They will move, its just a matter of when. Of course, Mike isn't too happy about it, but do you blame him, he's going into senior year. The prices of homes in Ahwatukee have sky rocketed. My parents house is worth double what they paid for it, so with them, its a matter of when they will move, not if.

That could be it, you're right.

Don't worry, I'll see the apartment. But wow. Family moving? To Show Low? What are they going to do for a living in Show Low? I hear the pickings are more than slim over there.

Poor Mike. I would kill my parents if they made me move just before my senior year of HS. O_O

Oh they know very well that if I were in his position there is NO WAY I would have let them move.

They will be able to survive in Show Low. When they sell the house, they'll have plenty left over to live on. They're also going to take some of that money and reinvest it in land. (They're still doing that.) At the moment, they have 20 properties in that area and they're thinking of putting mobile homes on them and selling. So basically, Don is going to quit Safeway and they're going to focus 100% of their time on the business. Plus with being in Show Low, they'll be on-site when the people come with the mobile homes.

I hope all of that works out for them. I mean... there's only so much land out there, you know?

Thanks Alex!

Yeah, I've always been one of the youngest. Kinda gotten used to it. And you're right, hopefully my dad was out PC-shopping! =D

Don't worry about getting me anything for my birthday. Material items are so much less important than our friendship that it's not even funny. And trust me, I know how financially restraining college is, so that's also one less thing for you to worry about. =D

Christmas? You'd be surprised, but I think another drawing would be awesome. I think I like those more than regular gifts because they're so much more personal, and because I know you spend a good amount of time on them. Really. =)

Sweet! I get to bore you for FREE?! ^___^ Nowadays I feel like I have to pay people to get a word out over here... O_o

Actually... a cool X-mas gift would be seeing you again. =D But we'll see how everything goes.

If he comes to visit us in Flagstaff, the three of us will definitely have to do something together.

While its still your birthday in both time zones, I want to wish you a Happy 19th Birthday. By the time you read this, it will be "I hope you enjoyed your birthday."
