Looks like I'll be subing for the Music teacher at St. Malachy school Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday of this week and next week. The only thing is, the teacher doesn't really believe in writing lesson plans. When I met with her today she said "Yeah, I usually just start at the beginning of the book and work my way through." Mwahaha. . .I'm going back to school to get my own happy certificate o' teaching. . .

I remember being very happy that I was prepared for a summer-school project when all the ed majors had procrastinated. . . but you're Bonny. And you're prepared.

Or, you can pretend you are. That works - kids don't know you're bluffing.

OOH! - middle schoolers are all about goofy things - so, you should do a drum circle. Or an ensemble of basketballs.

I'll stop letting homemade strega talk for me. But i'm serious about the recorders. It could give them BAND ideas!

I'm not sure they even have recorders to use. It's a pretty small Catholic school.

BUT I have my lesson plans done for this week and I think they'll work out. I can't really play the piano so I'm doing something more discussion based with the older kids.
