I liked it overall, Fiona was awesome and I was genuinely worried about her. The smoke from a fire in a drug lab would be pretty toxic, one would assume. Jesse was funny and Madeline was awesome. I was freaking out when James showed up in her home.

But.

We still don't know what the hell this organisation is. What do they do? Where do they get their funding from? And what's the deal with Sonya? Burke said she was the most important thing and we still don't know a thing about her, either. The audience is being asked to accept that James and his lot are the bad guys. I'm honestly not seeing them do anything that sets them apart from the CIA or anyone else Michael had worked for. They make schemes and carry them out.

And what was up with Snyder and his shaking hands at the beginning? Was that just a red herring? It seemed implied to me that he was someone who wasn't 100% comfortable with James, but I could be wrong.

Sorry. Late to the party, had a DVR fiesta tonight.

You know, I can see they are trying to paint Michael as losing his alliance to the "good guys", but James really *isn't* any different, other than not having to fill out a lot of paper work and mission reports.

I'm surprised they didn't have someone harassing Michael about not stopping the execution, but, honestly,
that guy was a real pussy. I am having a hard time he didn't wet his pants and cry for mommie the first hour of James' standard initiation procedure. The hand shake didn't look like a guy who could keep his cool while drugged and in sensory overload. It was a little overplayed.

And in any other circumstance, Sam or Jesse would have given someone hell for leaning a team member behind. IT's against their code. OTOH, they probably would have totally f*****ed with the person's life and let them live, not shot them on the spot, which in one light could be seen as more merciful.

My turn to apologise for being so late this time around!

Yes, I agreed, James doesn't seem any different than anyone else. It was something they dealt with in the earlier seasons - the lines between good and bad, who gets to decide, etc.

I couldn't figure out what the deal with that guy was. At first, I thought his nervousness meant that he was not fully behind James and was going to team up with Michael, etc. But that didn't happen, so it seems he was just not really cut out for that life? I don't blame him, but damn, leaving Fiona like that was ice cold.

Oh yes, Sam and Jesse would normally have been furious. Their reaction seemed understated to me as well.
