To correct a possible misapprehension

Maybe this is a little too sad
It was one of those technically challenges that I just had to try. I've managed to catalogue nearly all my books, using some home grown software and a bar code scanner. Basically I scanned the barcode of the book in, which triggered a web script, which looked the book up on Amazon and then recorded the details on a database here. Some books had to ( Read more... ) -

So Apple are finally getting rid of DRM, the question is, do I want to pay the £29.75 they want to remove the DRM from what I've currently got!
Edit: Its gone up to £35.95 now! -

Its the holiday season, the time when I have far too much time on my hands and hence you ends up with the occasional thoughtful and weird LJ post.
As you grow older there is one simple fact that becomes more and more obvious, most people don't give a dam about anything unless it blindingly obviously affects them slap bang right now in their face! ( Read more... )
