I think It's becoming increasingly obvious that I'm too nervous a player (and person) to be in division 1... Maybe even to play scrabble. I know I said I wouldn't bitch and whine, or feel self pity at the tournament, but I'm not at the tournament right now.

I hear you on the nerves. At tournaments, which are the only places where I get to see Scrabble people, I'm a pretty sad shadow of myself. I don't know that Divisions really have anything to do with it for me--I pretty much feel really nervous and miserable any time I think my competence is going to be tested in front of an audience.
