So, thankfully, this week is over. I decided to come home this weekend, which has been mostly really nice so far. However, it's a little disconcerting, because our house is up for sale. It's weird enough seeing a "for sale" sign in front of your house, but actually getting kicked out, so your house can be shown to other people... it kind of ( Read more... )

What a depressing entry. I used to have nightmares about my parents moving. I can't even imagine what it would be like to see a 'for sale' sign stuck in your front yard...

It still hasn't hit me... I'm sure I'll be depressed about it after it's sold and I'm packing up my stuff. I hate not being able to hang out in my own house though, and I can't even keep my stuff out, because we have to keep the house super tidy.

My parents sold their house once. It was sort of like.... well nothing.

Actually, when it happened I was 10 years old, and I was depressed and couldn't sleep for months upon months....

But that probably won't happen to you, seeing as how you are much older and don't live there most of the time anyway.

I will soon have some pain killers from my surgery, if you want to borrow some.

Yeah... but it sucks for different reasons. I mean, yeah, I don't have to switch schools or find new friends or anything, but it's where I grew up. It's sad.

That is so sad! I had no idea that you were moving. I know how it feels to have no place for your stuff anymore. I hope you will still be in the area.

Yeah, I hope so too. My mom still hasn't found a place yet... but either way, I still have my dad's house at least. Seems like everyone's moving away from our neighborhood; it's sad.
