The question of marriage - "he doesn't have to worry about things like marriage. Personally, marriage is such a lawful contract and proof of a martial binding to me, People can be life partner with marriage. Of course, if Zidane and Kuja wants to get marry, then good for them!"
I'm glad Zidane's thoughts read open-ended enough that it didn't come across like he felt that he had to marry Kuja to prove that he was devoted to him. He hadn't considered the possibility before so I could see him thinking about it because it had just come up.
Honesty - "I also liked that it lead into Zidane and Kuja's conversation, which was so heartfelt and sad and honest. I loved Kuja's admission that sometimes he did regret the way things had played out for him."
It's funny, Kuja doesn't say much this chapter, but he's really very honest throughout, since he understands that a lot is at stake with every reply he gives. He still might not really understand "family," might not even care if he burns the bridge between himself and Baku, for example, but he gets that it's important to Zidane and so for Zidane's sake he wants to try to get Baku to understand the situation, even if Kuja himself doesn't really understand it.
Shipping! - "I really don't ship Zidane and Kuja, but the ideas behind it and the rest of the story are great, so I'll struggle through reading those parts." then later "I ship it."
I LOLed : )
