Yup I'm posting on turkey day, got all my nervous energy stored up and ready for cooking!
Adrian/Alucard - "I really like the way you handled Adrian/Alucard struggling with what he wants to be called, and there's something so sad about his conclusion that Adrian wouldn't have killed his father"
The issue of names really matters to me, especially since one of the earliest scenes in the animation with Alucard has him talking about how his mother hadn't wanted him to define himself by his father, but in order to do honor her wish that he stop his father from committing genocide, he can no longer be Adrian but instead Alucard, the opposite of Dracula. So I think it would really stick with him that he had to abandon Adrian in order to kill his father, that that wasn't a choice he would've wanted to make.
"Head trauma" - "Guessing Alucard's split skull healed but he's maybe still concussed if he's dizzy and sleepy and nauseous"
I have to figure Alucard can heal up fairly quickly from anything non-fatal, since he usually seems unfazed by taking damage (I counted the number of times he got hit in the head / had his head smashed into things in the Dracula fight, and it was over 2 dozen impacts - which did seem to leave him woozy in the end as he was holding head and struggling to stand back up). But... I had to think of something that could plausibly do enough damage to knock him out for a bit, and I figured a trio of impacts straight to the head would be the most direct route.
