Well, It's been a hell of a month so far.

Shop management makes me feel run-over. And we're getting into the hot weeks (openings) and things keep getting added on and changed and I realized that I really and beyond caring about any of this. Shop sounds like the suck and I'll recognize your pain, for what it's worth. I will say that I think costumers probably have the hardest time figuring out what to wear for Halloween. Perhaps it's because we're so used to going all out for the BIG THINGS that something simple like a party at a friends' place where most of the costumes are straight off the rack with all accessories included just doesn't seem worth the effort. And heaven forbid you RE-WEAR something. Wings/corsets/spandex/armor/prosthetics just somehow doesn't seem worth the effort.

Yeah, I copped out the last two years (Snoopy was all bought and last year I was Carmen Sandiego, while awesome wasn't spectacular.) It's just depressing that I can't think of anything witty. It's my last year, and I'm in charge of the shop for Halloween, so something spectacular should happen, you know?

In true con-goer style I came up with something awesome way beyond the point of it being a reasonable amount of time to get something done and amd doing it anyway. I'm going as princess fiona and I suckered a friend into being my shrek and my sister into being puss in boots. I bribed them all saying that I'd make/assemble their costume for them and they bought in. Party's tomorrow night. :D I think perhaps I should quit with the internet now and get back to work.
