i have loked at my gallery.. honsetly, i think i can do better, so im still working on it, but I L O V E art, no matter what, so im always going to be doing it.kinda like you. i couldn't imagine a life where i couldn't draw or think or reserch about art. i love everyting about it.If people say that my work sucks, which, im sure some will someday, i will still keep on doing it.it would actually make me work harder, which it should do.
'cos it will only make you stronger.
wow. i sound like a cheesy song...i'll shut up now.
Why do you do art? -I draw because concepts constantly hit my head that need coming out, this semester I've gotten better about letting those concepts come out somewhat quicker thanks to my professor in Drawing I. I don't aim for the same things I use to now, and I've set aside logical working all the time for sometimes a more abstract approach, it works, and I have become more accepting of my artwork overall due to it.
Reflect. And look over your gallery. Does your answer met your expectations? -Of course my art doesn't meet my expectations hardly ever, but as I said before, I am becoming much more accepting of my works now than I use to be. I find unfinished work a lot more appealing than I use to. Also looking at some of the things I've done this semester, I actually understand my own style better and so I can work closer to my expectations, and sometimes not meeting some of them in the end can truly be for the better. That's kind of hard to explain though :p
