Today I learned that power outages of various lengths are a weekly occurrence in the village. I have no plug in clocks so I have not noticed if this happens while I am away or when I sleep. Take good care of your Kindle! You don't want to be like the guy in that Twilight Zone episode, who finally had time to read all the books he wanted, but then his glasses broke.
Glad to hear you're keeping active. It can be too easy to fall into a rut of not really doing anything.

My sister has to do that same thing of leaving the country every once in a while for her visa (although I think at one point they made her leave for a month while the Indian consulate worked out some passport issues). She used it as an opportunity to take some awesome trips.

Korea DID have a lot of opportunities for things like that. There are a lot of similarities and differences. Some people DO take awesome trips while visa issues get sorted out. Not sure if I will be allowed that. I should know soon in the next couple of days though.

I live, breath and die by that Kindle. It is my sanity. I love the books I have loaded on it. And it grows all the time.
Doing my best to keep my sanity. The lack of transportation and being far from anything is the hardest adjustment.
