Wow, I still haven't made a decision. I feel *so* stuck. I don't think I can afford my bike (well, I can...but I'd be giving up my savings deposits) and the whole back thing (back filled w/ titanium) solo thing (no one to help me out if I'm injured) keeps me chasing my tail. Don't know how I ended up on your page but stumbled across it looking for info on a 1200 conversion , anyway I though as I am here ill leave my two bits worth ..

Never ever sell ! I bought my first bike at 15 and have ridden , crashed , scrapped , re built many but the IRON is as close to perfection as I have found .... solo any the best but it sure beats not riding !

hey doc,
Hope your summer's going well. If you're worried about your back then don't ride. Riding those things requires a certain amount of 'give-a-f**k' attitude. Once you really start thinking about what you've got to loose...which is plenty...then it's no good. There's other fun stuff to do.
