Slowly making it happen with the bike, next up is finishing off the rear triangle. :) It is starting to look like a bike. Trying to break the practice stay/dropout connection was reassuring, it was seriously on there, I ended up bending my test dropout.

Thanks! It's taken a long time - I think the next session, the chain stays will definitely get brazed, and quite possibly the seat stays too... then it's on to the fork, and then brazeons assuming it's not totally warped. It's funny, this has been really intimidating in some ways, and quite easy in others. Keeping alignment in the rear triangle seems like rocket science.
