I just watched the original Batman again

Whoah whoah whoah - Batman has a dead lock on Joker, fires 2 machine guns (which in a scene only a few minutes before carved a horizontal line across an entire wall) and 4 missiles, and somehow they miss??? And then, Joker pulls out a 9-foot pistol, and TAKES DOWN THE BATPLANE? WHAAAAAAT??? The Batmobile was invulnerable to any number of bullets

1. Just because you have a dead lock doesnt mean that the line of fire is guaranteed

2. If he made the batplane out of the same material, it wouldn't be able to fly.

1.) I already said that in a previous scene he was able to shoot those guns in a full horizontal sweep simultaneously. The problem in the later scene is that he shoots on either side of the Joker. This doesn't make sense because he's already displayed the guns' ability to shoot in a full sweep. There's no way he should have missed.

2.) What?? You can make planes out of whatever you want and they'll fly if you have the right design. The air force has never had a problem with pistols taking out their fighters; there's no way Batman has inferior technology to them. You're an idiot.

3.) Batman would not climb the stairs because it leaves him completely vulnerable to attack. Also, he moves in shadows. The stairs in plain sight != shadows.

4.) No one said otherwise. Why do you try?

2. You're an idiot. You can't make planes out of whatever you want. Even if he could make a plane resistant to pistol attack it would be out of his budget perhaps. And that 9-foot pistol was a special anti-plane firing pistol.

3. He wants to be dramatic.
