I am still thankful, infact now more than ever I need to look for little chinks of thankfulness. Difficult days ahead (work related). I will post again when I'm ready.

Received a hand written letter through the post today from friends that I stayed with when I took a year out before starting university (okay, Poly then!)

We've not seen each other for 15 years but we still take the effort to keep each other up to date with our lives. It was very nice to read a letter written in ink - Thank you!

Argg. Bad day again today and the problem with bad days is it really makes me not want to post on here. The source of today's worry is work and it is probably going to be the source of many bad days in the not too distant future so I am going to have to dig deep and refuse to let it put me off ( Read more... )

I've spent the day cleaning, clearing up, tidying away, cooking and more cleaning. I woke with a sense of dread knowing just how much needed doing. A difficult one today - annual appointment at 9.00am for daughter at local hospital to see consultant. Arrived (in the snow) at 8.45am and was seen at 9.55am. The consultant was with us about 2mins 15secs before saying "yup, fine. See you again next year". My girls were quite disgruntled about this ( Read more... )

Sat 9 people down to tea tonight, yes, you heard right - 9 ! My in-laws are staying for the week plus my sister-in-law who is lodging with us at moment plus my folks who came to visit.

I am currently sat in the lounge sandwiched between two sets of parents playing with my blackberry!

Will this night ever end....
