Actually the picture is a photo manip of the star of "The Man Who Laughs," the movie that inspired the character.
The sequel will happen, likely in 2008, and they are currently searching for an actor to play The Joker. Rumors favor: 1. Sean Penn, 2. Tim Roth, 3. Johnny Depp, and 4. Mark Hamill. I'm hoping for Depp.
i thought it was excellent. Camera went a little shakey during fight scenes but besides that it was awesome. The Darker side of the bat showed like in the early comics and the movie explained why there are so many crazy people in gotham
