Hi to you too!

All the turmoil in the world finally got me down a while back, plus I've been doing a lot of writing and making up songs with my guitar. I've been meaning to get back on LJ for a while now. I want to go back to simpler times, so this is a good time to do so. I miss your CIS stories and will try to catch up with them after a spell; I kind of felt guilty not reading them.
After a respite of ten years, I'm back to writing for the local newspaper.
How's everything with you?

Take care, and hope to read your journal real soon

Bob

Yeah, the world is a depressing place about now. I know it's gotten me down lately, so it's a good thing we have writing and songs. What kind of songs do you write? I like to sing, but I've never tried writing my own. Mostly because I don't read music, lol.

I can't read music. I learned how to place my fingers on the guitar for the cords.

I'll see about sending you a song or two I wrote in an MP3 file.

I only have one song I did that I converted over to MP3 that's a work in progress. I'll explain in the email.

Now remember, I cannot sing.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY <3

Greetings! Sad that Livejournal has faded from its glory days. But nice to hear from someone who is still here. (I'm still writing, but often leave things as drafts marked private that I don't always finish and make public. Lots about the eclipse trip waiting to be finished though.)

Hi Steve,

I've been away from LJ for a time now but just started posting again.

I remember, at least I believe I do, when you went to the Academy Awards and wrote about it in your journal. The subjects you wrote about were very interesting. Was it you who set up a weather station?

Anyways, it's good to be back among friends, at least the ones left on LJ

Take care

Bob

Before pandemic (also when now-aging friends were healthier), I used to host Academy Awards parties, but they weren't official. And yes, I have a weather station - two actually, one on the roof not functioning, the other in a box waiting to go onto the roof.
