I honestly don't know how to feel right now. On one hand, if over 50% of our great nation felt so great about our esteemed president's last four years, that they'd reelect him despite his obvious blunders, anti-human rights, and evironmental destruction, then maybe they deserve the next four years

In English you could teach a 5 minute lesson on something like gerands, adverbs, parrallelism, or another type of speech thing. This are easy to discuss and learn and yet I remember learning the same things in both middle school and college so they apparently cover the whole educational level span. Or you could also do elements in literature which are fairly easy to grasp such as irony, mood, flashback, foreshadowing, etc... For a 5 minute lesson in English those are the type of things I would suggest, I'm not so good with the art ideas.
And yes, I am jealous of your trip to NY and the shows you will see... your job has been accomplished.
