No, you really shouldn't. Some of the rants I posted were in response to some general trends I've noticed recently. Also, I was drunk at the time. I re-read what I wrote and found a majority to be a little abrasive. Thus, I believe I am going to edit and make it a teensy bit more user-friendly. Apparently my opinions take on a Chris-like edge when I drink. :) Too much time together, I suppose.

Goddamnit Bob. At least when I drunkenly post things on LJ that are embarrassing, offensive, or otherwise inappropriate, I have the COMMON DECENCY to LEAVE IT THERE.
It serves as a reminder to myself of why I shouldn't go anywhere near LJ when I've been drinking.
I'm with you about the Happy Holidays thing. I would imagine that hearing "Merry Christmas" when you're a member of a group or a community that celebrates another holiday or no holiday would be extremely marginalizing. Why not, with two simple words, make another person feel validated, included, and respected. Isn't that kind of the ENTIRE FUCKING POINT of Christmas--to celebrate the birth of a man who WOULD HAVE DONE ALL THOSE THINGS.
Admittedly, he'd have slipped a copy of his book into your pocket when you weren't looking, but still...
