Comment and I'll give you a letter; then you have to list 10 things you love that begin with that letter. Post your list in your journal, and give out some letters of your own!
I was assigned the letter B:
1. Billiards - I don't get to shoot pool often enough anymore, although I do still enjoy it.
2. Binary numbers - Without which my computer wouldn't let me play games. Or work.
3. Bass lines - Especially when they are funky.
4. Banananana bread - I'm totally baking some this weekend.
5. Bluebells - Perhaps my favorite flower.
6. Bagna Cauda - A very tasty Italian fondue
7. Barenaked Ladies - The band, not the... just... gah! Nevermind.
8. Blood Brothers - A very powerful, dramatic musical.
9. Battlestar Galactica - Because I am a huge SciFi geek.
10. Babylon 5 - Well, duh.
In other news, today we were discussing some crappy pop song over in
pumilio2's journal. She found herself singing along with Sheryl Crow's "Strong Enough" until she realized that the lyrics are not only dumb, but actually pretty infuriating. My question to you, my gentle readers, is have you ever had that experience? You find a song that, say, has a good beat and you can dance to it, then realize that lyrically, it violates one or more of your core beliefs?
