I accepted a job at John Deere in Davenport last Friday, and turned in my letter of resignation to Caterpillar today. I told them my last day would be July 25th, giving them over a month to hire someone for my spot and allow me to train him or her to take over ( Read more... )

Un-Freaking-Believable.

And yet, somehow totally believable. I know things were different in the Mossville Engine Center, but this sounds way too familiar.

That's a bit rude.
Oh the upside, this gives you plenty of time to find the place of your desires, move in and get all settled BEFORE starting your new job. I think that sounds real considerate if you think of it that way.
