More music questions/rants and why biscuits are bad for you.
Yeah, end of semester doesn't mean I'm still not busy. -_- So two of those music questions today.

(For those curious on the pic, came from awkwardzombie forums in which edits are made combining old comics with new ones, with Entei's... face coming out rather recently. Meme potential, it is. Blah blah awkwardzombie comics are win you ought to go there.)
Ok. Day 2 = Least favourite song. This also can create quite a list. =p TBH I'm of the opinion that there's a heck of a lot of rubbish about, a lot of it overrated junk as well. IDK which one I hate the most though, so I'll just pick something at random, say, Black Eyed Peas' Boom Boom Pow song of bleh. -_-
No, no link to that, it deserves not linkage. =P But I will link to something awesome: some Dylan Moran stand up videos on rap music + lyrics of a particular song. I refuse to apologise if you have happened to have me link to this multiple times before, he speaks the truth. =p Warning - some swearing.
That probably sums up some of my thoughts on such music. =p I suppose there are some decent rap songs for instance - just that they are all too few and far in my experience. -_- Also stuff like 'why the hell does everyone need to cover good songs and make them sound worse - are they too unoriginal to make their own song? =|' are sentiments I sometimes have in addition. =D
Blah blah Dylan Moran is awesome watch more of his standup also Black Books.
And day 03 - A song that makes you happy. Darn it I can again link to a million songs but I won't. I'll just choose a song that I just crank up the volume and enjoy massively when it comes up that I've also listened to today and isn't something by someone mentioned last post and isn't that song Jax posted 'Code Monkey' that has been infectious as well...oh, hello.
Led Zeppelin, yo, and a song that isn't Stairway to heaven. Also note this is a live version. And it's so darn good live anyway unlike a lot of songs. Heck, songs like this is why I hate a lot of music these days - just sit there, listen to this with headphones, and then think about a lot of the more 'popular' songs out there today that just pale in comparison to awesome singing and riffs and tune and whatnot. No tricks, no random synchronised music with repetitive lyrics put over the top, no high-pitched baby's shouted... just music.
XKCD agrees (but with Stairway to Heaven - more people need to listen to the other led zeppelin songs out there, as good as that one is.) =P
Anyways I suppose it's the guitar around the chorus that I just love the most, as well as the way the song builds up... and the guitar solo....and the vocal-ok the whole thing. -_-. Maybe not the most happy-making song of mine, but listening to music I like makes me happy so it counts imo. =P
Now I'm going to sleep. -_-
