Bailey's first day

We got a new cat this morning. Her name's Bailey, and she's a blood donor at the U of M vet school (where my aunt works, which is why we heard about her). I spent the afternoon essentially petting her. (And floating around on the internet, and eventually doing some health assignments, but mostly petting her.) I can't quite put into words why this

I love cats!
Sam has been spending the first half of the night at the foot of my bed (and the second tearing around my room, of course!). They are excellent creatures.

I strongly agree. Bailey spent her first night making sure I didn't sleep for more than two hours at a time, but I still love her.
