I went running today! I don't do that nearly often enough. It was only about 20 minutes (like every time I run here because I'm not all that self-motivated), but it was really fun, and gave me energy! Yay ( Read more... )

Callie! I'm so proud and glad. I am so absolutely psyched to hear all of your stories, a because I love you, and b because other cultures are so fascinating to me, because I'm nerdy like that. AAAAAH 3 and a half months. I HAVEN'T SEEN YOU FOREVER. I'm so happy that you're happy!!!!! But running in the heat must be absolutely horrible...

Abbie! I insist that you come here and learn about the culture firsthand, for yourself. Is it sad that 3 and a half months sounds really short to me now? But it does feel like forever since I saw you every day. That was a really fun summer! And the heat here is no worse than summer back home, which is to say that it would be horrible if I actually ran long distances (as opposed to the 2 miles or so I've been doing). I'm such a slacker.

I would love to. You should come and bring me back with you, for a little bit, and then I would come home with you again, and it would all be great. 3.5 months doesn't sound short to me, but if it sounds short to you, then it's all good. That was SUCH a fun summer. We should do it again next year. I haven't run at all, so slacker? No.

I got your letter!!!! Yayyyyyy...it made me glad. Except you need to date them, because it just makes me feel more in control of life, and that's a good thing.

Mmmm I'm sleepy and I miss Callie!

You totally should visit! My family actually is going to take a vacation here someday so they can see where I lived for six months of my life, and you should stow away in the luggage! Or just come. I'm psyched now! And I agree, we have to have another fun summer like that next year.

The date comes on the stamp that the post office puts, but just for you I'll start putting it in the actual letter too. I actually don't remember when I sent it, which is a bad sign. I think it was a really really long time ago.
