The hijueputa mierda maldito listening section of the U of M language test doesn't seem to like Costa Rican computers. Any of them. And if it doesn't fix itself soon I'm going to start swearing in English.

That's annoying, but those tests were almost not even worth taking. They make you take them, but I'm absolutely sure there's no way you won't pass/high pass the EPT and LPE (or whatever they're called). If they go bureaucratic about it, I would emphasize your current country of residence and its official language. What classes are you looking to take? (I still have to figure this out for next semester too).
Suerte.

I'm trying to take either a Spanish writing/linguistics (I really want the second one) class, or some sort of advanced French language thingy, which is really my first choice. I already high passed the reading test in both languages, and they're letting me take the oral one when I get back, but something's screwy with the sound system and Windows. Hence the frustration. So I might wind up with a general linguistics or phy ed class, which don't require any language tests, but phy ed at least would just make me sad. It's sort of not worth doing PSEO just for that.
Suerte con el tuyo también.
