sick & tired

I'm sick. This is bad. I don't want to go back to the US with a virus at all. But I have pills and gatorade and coconut milk (which tastes not too great but is apparently good for you), so hopefully I'll be getting better before Tuesday

I agree with sleep deprived Callie. But I also want to make sure that she enjoys her last few days in Costa Rica, because that's something you're not going to get back.

I was about to say that I hope I didn't get you sick, but that would be impressive indeed if I had.

No, it was my host mom that did it. And I'm actually feeling better by now. I want to enjoy the last few days too, but even if I can't I know I can be happy with all that I've already had. I've been way happier than the status quo during the past six months, and I know it was worth it. I just sometimes get this feeling of "okay, so why am I not home yet?"

On a side note, my host mom has it way worse than I do. She pretty much stayed in bed yesterday and part of today. So I'm being thankful for the fair to middling health I've got. And I should stop angsting, because that's really all I was doing.

I'm glad you're feeling better, and that you're going to try to enjoy the next few days. And I'm especially glad that it was worth it. And somewhere in there, I'm pretty darn glad you're coming home, too.

But I like hearing from you. So if that's angsting, then please angst some more.
