.my dad bought a car. he actually went through a midlife crisis and bought himself a car. i thought people joked when they said that people do that when they get older. although, i have to say, i am really proud of him. it was his first major impulse buy... ever, actually

i have an embarrasing auditory story to share with you!
i was in the computer lab in the bsb wasting time before a class, and i had my headphones on and i was looking at livejournal. my friend lisa posted an entry about how she thinks she might have mild autism (i'm pretty sure this was a joke...) because when she is sitting alone and it is quiet, she will notice herself pronouncing "ssssssssssst sssssssssssst sssssst" over and over again. anyway, as i'm reading the entry, i realize that i am actually reading "sssst ssssssssssssssssst" outloud, and oh my god, i could have died!
