My LJ icon was just shared in a newbie's post at the Sleeping with the Enemy D/Hr community on YahooGroups.

Some of you may remember the grief associated with this particular icon back in the fall.

As I said in my post on SWTE, I have not posted this icon anywhere else

Thanks, Raffy, for being vigilant about the picture.

It's near and dear to my heart, so I was very surprised to find out that it's on some public site somewhere that anyone could just use. The interesting this is that the picture that the newbie shared is the same exact size as my icon.

I don't know if the newbie was the one who necessarily took it from my LJ, as there has been an incident once before when someone used this icon as their own on their LJ, and they claimed that they'd gotten it from a web site through a Google search.

It does seem silly to have to credit every public image of celebrities . I'm certainly not claiming that I took said pictures.

BTW, I like your icon. Seems to be from the same event Emma was in as my icon.
