When I’ve gotten home from work this week, I’ve checked my personal e-mails first. Why is this unusual? Because the norm has been to check D/Hr archives and LJ as soon as I get online before I check RL e-mail.  Having ( Read more... )

I agreed with Bunney completely. I don't listen to rants. If I did, I wouldn't like anything because there is always someone who doesn't like something. I've got a varied group of people on my Flist but the D/Hr rants have been abundant and I've agreed with some of what they say but I also know that things go in spells. I ship a variety of ships but D/Hr is my main ship and would be my OTP if I actually had just one ship I read/wrote because it was my first. I've not written it lately. Not because I no longer love the ship but because I've not had any ideas that it didn't feel like I'd written many times before. I posted a huge rec list recently and I discovered a good dozen or two D/Hr of various ratings I'd never read before so there might be something new on that list for you to read!

I also agree with bunney. I have definitely felt the lull, so much that I have searched other ships. But my love for D/Hr still remains. I think that's what's going to get us all by until the 6th book (if she doesn't kill off Draco. god forbid). We all have this awful weak spot for the ship despite the rants and the very sad crappy fanfiction out there. So, I am waiting very patiently for the day.

I admit, it was kind of depressing to read all those negative posts about our beloved ship, but I simply ignored them (and you should, too!)
Don't let these things get you down, sweetie.
